How-toCaregiversAnonymize a caregiver

Anonymize a caregiver

Remove a caregiver’s personal details while keeping their loan history intact. This is the “delete my data” path — it satisfies a caregiver’s request to be removed without breaking the record of which carriers went where. Only Org Admins can anonymize a caregiver, and it can’t be undone.

Carrier Stash has no separate “delete caregiver” action — anonymizing is how you honor a removal request.

Steps

1. Open the caregiver record

As an Org Admin, find the caregiver on the Caregivers screen and open their record. Anonymization lives in the Danger zone section.

2. Start anonymization

Choose Anonymize caregiver. A confirmation dialog explains exactly what will be replaced and cleared.

3. Confirm

Type ANONYMIZE to enable the confirm button, then choose Anonymize. The button stays disabled until the word matches, since the action can’t be reversed.

What anonymization does

  • Replaces first name, last name, email, phone, and all co-caregiver fields with placeholder values — the record reads Anonymized Caregiver
  • Clears every flag on the record
  • Keeps loan history, waiver attestations, and safety fittings, all re-attributed to “Anonymized Caregiver”
  • Is logged, with the timestamp and the Org Admin who ran it

After anonymization

The record can’t be reversed, and there’s nothing left to identify the caregiver. Because free-text notes elsewhere might still mention the person by name, anonymization surfaces any notes in your organization that appear to contain the anonymized name, so an Org Admin can review and edit them manually.
